ENDEAVOUR PSYCHOLOGY

Courage. Compassion. Change.

Led by Clinical Psychologist and Fellow in Thanatology Dr Lisa Burke, Endeavour Psychology is a boutique psychological practice based in Geelong, Victoria.

Endeavour Psychology focuses particularly on supporting clients with bereavement, grief, and neurodiversity including ADHD and autism.  In addition, we regularly support clients with depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, panic, trauma, PTSD, body image and weight concerns, fertility and perinatal psychology, adjustment, stress, self-esteem, personality, social skills, sexuality, gender, relationships, communication, and interpersonal concerns.

At Endeavour Psychology, we're passionate about narrative therapy; a respectful, non-pathologising, and non-blaming therapy that highlights the individual's own strengths and sense of purpose to resolve difficulties.  We also employ other evidence-based interventions including CBT, EMDR, Interpersonal and Social Rhythm Therapy (IPSRT), sand tray therapy, and psychodynamic therapy.

Appointments are available with no waitlist for children, adolescents, and adults.  Endeavour Psychology offers in-person consultations in our warm and welcoming clinic, as well as consultations Australia-wide via telehealth.  Medicare rebates available.

Amanda (she/her) is a Provisional Psychologist with a deep commitment to supporting psychological wellbeing and personal growth. She strives to create a warm, safe, non-judgemental space where all experiences are met with compassion and respect. Her work is grounded in trauma-informed principles, recognising the importance of safety, choice and collaboration in the therapeutic process.

Before training in psychology, Amanda spent over two decades in the marketing and advertising industry. With a curious mind and a creative lens, she draws on her diverse background to bring a fresh perspective to therapy – blending psychological insight with creative thinking to help clients understand themselves and their challenges in ways that are insightful, practical and deeply personal.

At the heart of Amanda's work is a commitment to what matters to her clients, whether that’s improving emotional health, strengthening relationships, guiding them through times of change, or helping them reconnect with a deeper sense of self. She is particularly passionate about the therapeutic process itself; creating a space where her clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful change. Her goal is to support her clients in exploring their story, their values, and the possibilities for their future; through the gentle uncovering of strengths that can often go unnoticed.

Amanda loves live music, travelling, art, history, yoga and nature walks.
