ENDEAVOUR PSYCHOLOGY

Courage. Compassion. Change.

Referrals and Fees

Endeavour Psychology is currently accepting referrals for child, adolescent, and adult appointments with our Psychologists and Mental Health Social Workers via the following referral pathways:

  • Mental Health Treatment Plans (MHTPs) completed by a GP, paediatrician, or psychiatrist.
  • Private health insurance - check your individual fund for eligibility and referral requirements.
  • Self-referring and paying own fees - no referral needed.
  • Third-party referral pathways including Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA), Open Arms, Transport Accident Commission (TAC), and WorkSafe/Workcover.
  • NDIS self-managed or plan-managed only.
  • (Please note we are unable to accept NDIA-managed/agency-managed referrals.)

If you have a Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP) under the federal government's Better Access initiative, you are eligible to claim a Medicare rebate for your sessions, up to annual session limits.  As at 1st January 2024, Medicare rebates for mental health sessions are capped at a maximum of 10 individual sessions and 10 group sessions per calendar year.  Click here for further information about Mental Health Treatment Plans.

Referrals can be sent to Endeavour Psychology via fax (03 5294 0088).

CONSULTATION FEES

Consultations at Endeavour Psychology are available Australia-wide via telehealth; in-person in Geelong West; or at an appropriate external location such as a care facility, hospital, or workplace. The Australian Psychological Society recommended fee for a 50-minute psychology consultation is $311. Endeavour Psychology is committed to providing affordable quality healthcare services and as such, consultation fees per 50-minute session as of 1st July 2025 are as follows:

SENIOR CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGIST

$265.00

If attending via a Mental Health Treatment Plan, you will be eligible for a Medicare rebate of $145.25 (as of July 1st 2025) per session up to annual session limits.

general psychologist

$220.00

If attending via a Mental Health Treatment Plan, you will be eligible for a Medicare rebate of $98.95 (as of July 1st 2025)  per session up to annual session limits.

MENTAL HEALTH SOCIAL WORKER

$210.00

If attending via a Mental Health Treatment Plan, you will be eligible for a Medicare rebate of $87.25 (as of July 1st 2025) per session up to annual session limits.

MENTAL HEALTH SOCIAL WORKER - COMMONWEALTH concession or HEALTH CARE card

$160.00

If attending via a Mental Health Treatment Plan and you have a  valid Commonwealth concession or health care card, you will be eligible for a Medicare rebate of $87.25 (as of July 1st 2025) per session up to annual session limits.

PROVISIONAL PSYCHOLOGIST

$120.00

Provisional Psychologists ('Interns') have completed 2–3 university degrees and are in the final stages of training. This is an accessible option for clients seeking quality psychological support. No Mental Health Treatment Plan is needed as sessions are not eligible for Medicare rebates.

Full payment is required on the day of consultation. Bulk billing is not available at Endeavour Psychology. Because Endeavour Psychology focuses strongly on engaging clients for assessment and treatment, letters or reports such as those for legal, insurance, or Centrelink purposes are not able to be provided. We recommend consulting with a forensic psychologist for such purposes.

CANCELLATION FEES

For all clients except NDIS clients, Endeavour Psychology follows the cancellation fee recommendations of the Australian Psychological Society:

  • Notice of more than 24 business hours (i.e., Monday–Friday) – No cancellation fee applies. You may cancel via telephone, text message, email, or by using the link provided in the reminder email sent 3 days before your appointment.
  • Notice of less than 24 business hours (i.e., Monday–Friday) – A  fee of 50% of the full session rate applies.
  • Non-attendance or no notice provided – A fee of 100% of the full session rate applies.

For NDIS clients, Endeavour Psychology follows the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits document which states that a 100% session fee applies for non-attendance or cancellations with notice of less than 48 business hours (i.e., Monday–Friday).

These fees reflect the costs associated with maintaining our services, the clinician’s preparation time, and the missed opportunity for another client to access support. These cancellation fees apply to all clients, regardless of referral pathway. Clients attending via third parties such as DVA or TAC are individually liable for non-attendance and cancellation fees.
